We were fortunate enough to see chicks from a number of species, and enjoyed shooting this Swallow-tailed Gull as it fed its chick. The chick was in the shadows, with the parent partly in the open sun. Normally, this would have been a perfect opportunity for some fill-flash, but flash photography is strictly prohibited. I had to rely on the Shadows and Highlights tool in Photosohp for this and similar pictures.
